We hold regular social dance events, creating opportunities for people to meet others and make new friends through dance. Whether it’s our regular dance social, speed dating or cultural celebration, we’re sure to have something for you.

Do I need dance experience
Not at all. Our friendly staff will be on hand throughout the night to show you the ropes. Plus our students are super friendly and will make you feel comfortable dancing with them. It is a no pressure, safe environment.
Already a seasoned dancer? No worries. Come along and enjoy the evening dancing with a group of people from all skill levels and ability.
How many people usually attend
It completely depends on the time of the year, but there’ll be between 15 and 30 people. A comfortable number that keeps it friendly and social.
Is there a group class before
Yes, we offer a beginners group class at 6pm. We’ll cover the basics in a range of different dance styles so those who have not danced before, or need a refresher will have some moves for the evening.
I learn at another dance studio, can I still attend
We have students from various Arthur Murray and independent studios join us for our socials. So you are welcome to join in too. The only thing we ask is that you keep it friendly and social.
It is our expectation that you are open to dancing with all attendees, regardless of level or dance experience. We are all about providing a safe and welcoming dance environment, that puts the social back in dance.
I need to cancel my tickets
All ticket sales to our dance socials are a firm sale and cannot be refunded. If you are worried about your schedule, you can purchase closer to the date of the social, as tickets can be purchased right up to the start of the event.
Is there food and drink
Yes. We put out a range of finger food choices throughout the evening as well as provide a range alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
Can I bring my own alcohol
No. Our venue is fully licensed. All alcohol is to be supplied by us and will be served by staff who have their RSA.
